  1. Streak broken after time zone change

    Recently I traveled from New York to Singapore and back. A couple days after returning, the streak counter reset to 0 days even though I had been careful to log activity at least once a day. Might be a bug there.

  3. Removing competition

    Hi Walter,

    I hope your premium subscriptions are coming along well. I want to tell you something about your Competition like Calm, Zen and others.

    They are spoon feeding and coddling people. I don’t think this is the correct way to help people, with this approach, in other words, they are teaching people to run away from their problems.

    I have reason to believe that, this is not the wise and prudent way to help people to solve their problems.

    The mindfulness practice is all about embracing reality as it is, regardless if it appears good or bad, and/ or…

  4. Change the night reflection author to the same voice as the morning author.

    It’ll be much more calming and pleasant. Oh and hey if you do can you omit the introductory paragraph about being “in a room that is not your bedroom.” It’s the only room I got and I pay rent.

  6. Pause mediations longer reflection time

    I would like longer to reflect on each idea in the pause videos (ie, I accept my body, I accept my thoughts etc). Two in and out breaths at least, but preferably three. There is no way to actually reflect right now as it changes so fast. I find it is actually making me stressed rather than relaxed because all I am doing is anticipating the next ‘intention’ as soon rather than actually thinking about the one I’m doing now. It would also be more relaxing as I wouldn’t have to stare at the screen so much. I could actually…

    Thanks for the detailed suggestion and shared experience. We hope to be making a lot more content so people can find what works best for them. This is a great suggestion that we’ll definitely implement. We’re in the process of figuring out how best to put it in the app to allow people to find it.

  7. A Dark Theme in the evening

    I am really sensitive to the blue light from my phone in the evening because it noticeably disrupts my energy, and thus sleep patterns. It would be great if those pages, rather than the background being blinding white with black text, a dark colour with white txt.

  8. Notes

    If a note gets too long, > 5 lines or so, the keyboard stays over the text I’m writing. There’s no scroll functionality in the notes page.

    Is this a bug or a feature?

  12. I want the streak features back

    The 2.07 update apparently removed the streak feature (how many continuous days of activity). Put it back please. That’s what kept me coming back.

  13. Reflections

    I stopped using the app for a while and just got back to it. The reflections used to read as a sentence where I can fill in my thoughts...now they show as a question and answer format. I like the old way, is there a setting I can change or is this a new thing. I like the old way better...helps me really reflect on how I was feeling when I go back and look at my life log. I’m also not feeling the number thing, words speak louder to me.

  15. Add option to remove the share button

    One of the reasons I use the app is to break my social media addiction, getting promoted to ‘share’ constantly is counterproductive and may force me to abandon the Mindful app. Please add a setting to disable this functionality and hide the button

  17. Extend bell length

    Please consider extending the length of the bell at the end of meditations. Also, please consider using a bell tone that is slightly lower in pitch and less shrill. Thank you

  18. Startup faster

    Sometimes it can take 30 seconds for the app to present me with action choices. If all I wanted to do is a 1 minute pause, this seems excessive. I suspect the time taken had to do with network info transfers but again -- this could be done asynchronously without wasting my time.

  19. I can’t sign up or login with new app

    App took ages to load (I was a daily use of the old app for the last few years). Finally tried to login via Facebook and app crashed. Now I can’t log in via Facebook (“facebook error”), sign up as “user exists” and recovery password spits back raw JSON. You might need to hire a new QA.

  20. App continues to prompt for daily lessons even after all daily lessons are finished.

    Once you finish the lesson course it should no longer prompt you to do lessons.
