  1. Mood tracker

    As part of the morning lesson, and other prompts throughout the day, it would be great if the app could record our mood on a graph that we can refer back to. It would be interesting to see how mindfulness practice affects how we feel over time.

    Excellent idea! We hope to add this type of stats/graph functionality in the future. The checkin feature (accessed in the more section, and checkin specific reminders) was our attempt to do the first half of this. Please continue to share with us more on any specifics you’d like to see or how you might use this type of feature.

  2. Nightly Reflection at Night

    If we open the app between, say 10pm and 2am, tapping the 'Let's Begin' button should take us through the Nightly Reflection rather than the daily practice.

    Great idea and thinking. When we have the time/resources to properly design out and implement, this is definitely the direction we’d like to go. Please continue to share your feedback on this and in other areas :-)

  3. Reminders

    I have reminders set but unless I'm looking at my phone at the moment they are set to go on I don't see them and can't figure out how to do the action it was reminding me to do. Where can I access them?

    Great news! It took us waaaaay longer than we had hoped, but we finally have added reminders to the lifelog. Simple return to app, scroll down to the lifelog and tap a reminder to be brought into a flow like Pause or Checkin :-) - If you have any feedback on the new design and content please let us know via support@inward.me thank you! walter

  4. More structured practices beyond 21 days

    I'd like to see many more morning practices added beyond the first 21 days. I did very well at making a mindfulness routine up to when I completed the 21 days.

    It might be nice to be able to choose how much time we have and then let us choose the practice. Different practices of differing lengths would be good, so we can choose what to do based on the time we have available.

    Although we don’t know when we’ll be able to implement this, we are planning to support more days of content. This requires us adding a downloading of more content feature set which we’d want to do right. If you have any suggestions of the types of content or content providers we should work with please include that here too.

  5. Logging of Daily Intention in Lifelog

    I currently write morning notes where I record:

    • How I feel right now
    • My intention for the day
    • Something I am grateful for (Gratitude diary)

    It would be great if MD could optionally prompt us for these things first thing, and record them in our life log. It could invite us to return to what we wrote in the afternoon to see if we are staying true to what we wrote.

    This is a lovely idea that overlaps with a few things we’ve been brainstorming but have yet to officially add to the roadmap. Please continue to give any feedback and/or suggestions down here so we have more of your input when we have the time and resources to implement this excellent idea :-)

  6. Sync Meditation sessions to Runkeeper

    I am a big fan of Runkeeper for tracking my running, walking, swimming etc. I recently discovered that is is possible for third-party apps to share Meditation session data to a users runkeeper account via the Healthgraph API. This would be great and it would be fun to see how mindfulness affects other areas of our health. Please consider adding this.

  7. Sync Lifelog stats with Insight Timer

    I love the Mindfulness Daily app, but I also use Insight Timer which has some great features like a really nice programmable meditation timer, amazing bell sounds and a really fun social component that let's you see how many other people are meditating with you, and when and for how/long your friends meditated for. It also keeps some nice statistics on your meditation practice.

    I wish there was a way to sync the meditation practices that we do in 'Mindfulness Daily' to our stats page in 'Insight Timer'. This way we could have a single, central location to track our…

    We’re fans of Insight Timer and are open to working with them when we have the resources to support a sync. We’ve also created some of the same functionality (e.g., timer) but have not launched it yet because it was not ready and as integrated with the core user experience as we’d like. Inspired to act … I just found and reached out to the founder of Insight Timer … so, we’ll see if we can make something happen sooner or later! Keep the feedback and ideas coming :-))

  8. More varied audio for nightly reflections

    The nightly reflection audio is the same every evening. It gets tediously repetitive after using the app every day. It would be nice if there was more varied was to wind down.

    Great feedback! We totally agree. We’re not sure yet of the timeline but we’re in the process of figuring out the technical and content hurdles to add more varied audio for nightly reflections and elsewhere in the ap. Please feel free to give us more feedback on what you liked about it, what you didn’t and what we should add :-))

  9. 10 min timed silence

    Currently there is a 5 and 20 min silence. Please can you add a 10 min silence. Also maybe add 30min, 45min and 60 min silences.

    We hope to add both a timer and other lengths of silent and guided tracks. Thanks for being specific and requesting this feature. We’ll prioritize it!

  10. Chime

    The reminder chime should sound like a chakra bell not a doorbell. It's nice to be reminded but not easy to stop what we are doing. A chime would be a more gentle provocation to stop and be mindful.

  11. Implement syncing across devices

    I love your mindfulness app- it has been very helpful for a few weeks. I wanted to continue on my iPad but the devices don't sync despite my log in. I don't want to start at day 1 again! This is the only part of the app that isn't great. Thanks!

    Thanks for the kind words and input. We’d love to support better sync but we’re not sure when we’ll be able to launch this given we’re a small team. Please note that one work around is to go to the more section (3 lines icon upper left corner), tap on “Help” and then tap on “Lock / Unlock Days”. Then select a day and just fast forward through them. You can catch up where you are then. It is not ideal but one way to do it … thanks for your patience and support :-)

  12. Pause suggests inaccurate wording

    The last piece of the pause video gives suggestions such as "generosity, kindness..ect." But the wording is such that it should be "be generous and kind".

    We added registration to both set the groundwork for current and future account features and to insure we can support users to the best of our abilities. We’ll continue to explore ways we can get around requiring registration and/or be better at explaining why we require it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this, we take it very seriously.

  15. Android Version

    I stumbled across your app entirely by accident due to the sheer amount of other mindfulness apps you have to compete with on the App Store. I've enjoyed it enough to delay switching back to Android for almost 2 months now.

    I think you should take the plunge and create an Android version. Not simply for my benefit (though I will not hide the fact that being able to finally go leave the walled garden would be nice), but because of the current state of the mindfulness section of the Play store.

    Thanks for the incredibly thoughtful post, we too have our eye on Android but are balancing it with our extremely lean team.   19. Fix app to work with 7.1.2 software update!

    New update doesn't allow auto lock to be switched off-meaning when the phone locks itself the clips end until phone is unlocked/screen is touched.

    We’ve been trying to replicate this issue for the last 24 hours but have not yet been able to. We continue to try.     That’s great feedback. We’re exploring new designs and are taking this into account. Some love it, some are stressed by it … we’ll continue to work on it till we are able to tune it for more people. So many paths inward, and it is so personal and varied in terms of preferences.
