    We hope to support other languages like French as soon as we have the resources to do it and support it right. We also need to find the right french voice. If you know of any please let us know!

    P.s., we’d plan on using Google translate for support until we had enough users to pay for the support costs in a foreign language. We’re not sure how effective that would be. Here’s this note translated in French as an example:

    Nous espérons pour soutenir d’autres langues comme le français dès que nous avons les ressources pour le faire et de le soutenir droite. Nous devons aussi trouver la voix française de droite. Si vous connaissez des s’il vous plaît laissez-nous savoir !

    We hop to add support for more languages when we have the resources to do it right and then to handle support in those languages as well. If you know of any great resources that are affordable for translation and audio production in that language please let us know :-)

  4. Stop the bells

    I really like using the app but find the 3 chimes at the end of each meditation extremely irritating and totally unnecessary. Especially as I've just got into a nice relaxed state and then I'm shocked out of it by these high pitched "ding!"s. Please please please get rid of them!!!

    We hope to add the ability to turn off the bells in the settings. We’re not sure when we’ll be able to do this but we deeply believe in providing personalization features like this to support each person’s preferences and unique paths inward. Thank you for your input!

    The feature we hope to add ASAP is to have reminders/notifications show up in the Lifelog for people who don’t want their reminders to show on their locked screen for privacy reasons.

    This is not an easy feature given how we developed the reminders functionality so it is taking us longer than we have hoped.

    We’ll be doing a crowdfunding to see if we can raise money from people using the app daily to build out requested features like this one.

    Thanks for kindly writing in requesting support of Windows phone. At this time we have no plans to support it given our lean team and limited resources, but we’ll continue to look into how we could build and support it within our available resources. We’d love to support it and hope that you can find another program in the meantime that meets your needs that supports the windows phone. We are in the process of adding support for Android phones but are not sure how long it will take us to launch and be able to fully support it to the level in which we feel is needed.

  7. Make choice for when the day ends

    Occasionally I only fit in one activity and sometimes it is just the night reflection. This Saturday I had a busy day socialising and remembered to do a night reflection just after midnight. I am very upset to see that the app shows me to have missed a day and now feel demotivated.

    Great idea! We’d love to add this when we have the time/resources to do it. For what its worth, it currently starts the day over at 3 am local time. We’re sorry for the “demotivation”, we completely understand and will aim to address this asap.

    We’ll explore what size ipad’s and what perspective (vertical/horizontal) are more or less user friendly. If you have any more specifics on size, orientation or ideas in what would be more user friendly we’d greatly appreciate it. One user told us that sometimes they’d have to change the perspective Horizontal/Vertical to make text input easier. Perhaps this is the same issue.

  9. Health Benefits of Minfulness

    I recently read Sam Harris' book "Waking Up" which provides a great deal of information about the physical and mental short and long term benefits of mindfulness practice, and meditation in general. In the first few days of the program, it might be nice if the app provided more information on what we are trying to achieve with mindfulness practice, what the health benefits are why things like focusing on the breath and doing a body scan etc. is do beneficial. Rick Hanson's Foundations of Well-being program just completed its mindfulness pillar which also contained great info.

  10. Mood tracker

    As part of the morning lesson, and other prompts throughout the day, it would be great if the app could record our mood on a graph that we can refer back to. It would be interesting to see how mindfulness practice affects how we feel over time.

    Excellent idea! We hope to add this type of stats/graph functionality in the future. The checkin feature (accessed in the more section, and checkin specific reminders) was our attempt to do the first half of this. Please continue to share with us more on any specifics you’d like to see or how you might use this type of feature.

  11. Nightly Reflection at Night

    If we open the app between, say 10pm and 2am, tapping the 'Let's Begin' button should take us through the Nightly Reflection rather than the daily practice.

  12. Reminders

    I have reminders set but unless I'm looking at my phone at the moment they are set to go on I don't see them and can't figure out how to do the action it was reminding me to do. Where can I access them?

    Great news! It took us waaaaay longer than we had hoped, but we finally have added reminders to the lifelog. Simple return to app, scroll down to the lifelog and tap a reminder to be brought into a flow like Pause or Checkin :-) - If you have any feedback on the new design and content please let us know via support@inward.me thank you! walter

  13. More structured practices beyond 21 days

    I'd like to see many more morning practices added beyond the first 21 days. I did very well at making a mindfulness routine up to when I completed the 21 days.

    It might be nice to be able to choose how much time we have and then let us choose the practice. Different practices of differing lengths would be good, so we can choose what to do based on the time we have available.

    Although we don’t know when we’ll be able to implement this, we are planning to support more days of content. This requires us adding a downloading of more content feature set which we’d want to do right. If you have any suggestions of the types of content or content providers we should work with please include that here too.

  14. Logging of Daily Intention in Lifelog

    I currently write morning notes where I record:

    • How I feel right now
    • My intention for the day
    • Something I am grateful for (Gratitude diary)

    It would be great if MD could optionally prompt us for these things first thing, and record them in our life log. It could invite us to return to what we wrote in the afternoon to see if we are staying true to what we wrote.

  15. Sync Meditation sessions to Runkeeper

    I am a big fan of Runkeeper for tracking my running, walking, swimming etc. I recently discovered that is is possible for third-party apps to share Meditation session data to a users runkeeper account via the Healthgraph API. This would be great and it would be fun to see how mindfulness affects other areas of our health. Please consider adding this.

  16. Sync Lifelog stats with Insight Timer

    I love the Mindfulness Daily app, but I also use Insight Timer which has some great features like a really nice programmable meditation timer, amazing bell sounds and a really fun social component that let's you see how many other people are meditating with you, and when and for how/long your friends meditated for. It also keeps some nice statistics on your meditation practice.

    I wish there was a way to sync the meditation practices that we do in 'Mindfulness Daily' to our stats page in 'Insight Timer'. This way we could have a single, central location to track our…

    We’re fans of Insight Timer and are open to working with them when we have the resources to support a sync. We’ve also created some of the same functionality (e.g., timer) but have not launched it yet because it was not ready and as integrated with the core user experience as we’d like. Inspired to act … I just found and reached out to the founder of Insight Timer … so, we’ll see if we can make something happen sooner or later! Keep the feedback and ideas coming :-))

  17. 10 min timed silence

    Currently there is a 5 and 20 min silence. Please can you add a 10 min silence. Also maybe add 30min, 45min and 60 min silences.

    We hope to add both a timer and other lengths of silent and guided tracks. Thanks for being specific and requesting this feature. We’ll prioritize it!

  18. Chime

    The reminder chime should sound like a chakra bell not a doorbell. It's nice to be reminded but not easy to stop what we are doing. A chime would be a more gentle provocation to stop and be mindful.

  19. Implement syncing across devices

    I love your mindfulness app- it has been very helpful for a few weeks. I wanted to continue on my iPad but the devices don't sync despite my log in. I don't want to start at day 1 again! This is the only part of the app that isn't great. Thanks!

    Thanks for the kind words and input. We’d love to support better sync but we’re not sure when we’ll be able to launch this given we’re a small team. Please note that one work around is to go to the more section (3 lines icon upper left corner), tap on “Help” and then tap on “Lock / Unlock Days”. Then select a day and just fast forward through them. You can catch up where you are then. It is not ideal but one way to do it … thanks for your patience and support :-)

  20. Pause suggests inaccurate wording

    The last piece of the pause video gives suggestions such as "generosity, kindness..ect." But the wording is such that it should be "be generous and kind".
