I would like the pause videos to last 1 minute as I find the 15 seconds pauses are never long enough. Or perhaps 30 secs at least?
Thanks for the app, I love it!!

We’re exploring ways to do this better, thanks for the suggestion and for any additional ideas you share on this topic … we added longer practices to the practice section and longer pauses is something else we hope to add sooner than later. Just have to figure out the best way to do it that fits into the moment, please share your thoughts to help us with it :-))
I'd like to see many more morning practices added beyond the first 21 days. I did very well at making a mindfulness routine up to when I completed the 21 days.
It might be nice to be able to choose how much time we have and then let us choose the practice. Different practices of differing lengths would be good, so we can choose what to do based on the time we have available.16 votes
Although we don’t know when we’ll be able to implement this, we are planning to support more days of content. This requires us adding a downloading of more content feature set which we’d want to do right. If you have any suggestions of the types of content or content providers we should work with please include that here too.
We’ve started with silent Pause videos so they can be used in just about any setting … but we’re currently exploring many different types of Pause videos for different situations … so Ambient sound for Pause videos is a great suggestion that we’re now exploring as one of the types. Please keep suggestions like this coming, especially for Pause videos! What would you like and when/how might you use it …
Thanks for the feedback on pauses, we’re experimenting with a few new types and look forward to your feedback on them. If you or anyone else has additional suggestions or details on what we should explore further, please keep adding them :-)
I love your mindfulness app- it has been very helpful for a few weeks. I wanted to continue on my iPad but the devices don't sync despite my log in. I don't want to start at day 1 again! This is the only part of the app that isn't great. Thanks!10 votes
Thanks for the kind words and input. We’d love to support better sync but we’re not sure when we’ll be able to launch this given we’re a small team. Please note that one work around is to go to the more section (3 lines icon upper left corner), tap on “Help” and then tap on “Lock / Unlock Days”. Then select a day and just fast forward through them. You can catch up where you are then. It is not ideal but one way to do it … thanks for your patience and support :-)
Is it possible to view it as a calendar rather than just a list? Perhaps with the symbols to show the daily practice. Easier to view rather than scrolling down. I'm only on day 4 but loving it's simplicity so far.9 votes
Thanks for the feedback and idea. The lifelog is going to be getting a lot more attention with the aim to make it more valuable and easier to read while still keeping it as simple as possible. Please continue to give feedback on it as we come out with the next few releases, and keep the ideas coming :-)
It would be good to be able to reset your activity to zero and start again for what ever reason one might have!8 votes
Great idea! We’ve added this to our design agenda and will be taking a look at how/when to do this.
The reminder chime should sound like a chakra bell not a doorbell. It's nice to be reminded but not easy to stop what we are doing. A chime would be a more gentle provocation to stop and be mindful.8 votes
Thanks for the input, we hope to support multiple bell types as we’ve find that people’s preferences on this vary greatly, but are not sure when we’ll be able to implement. Please keep giving feedback, and if there are any example sounds you can point us to that’d be very helpful! – Walter (ceo + cofounder)
I get my morning message, and ones through the day, but because my screen one phone is locked, I'm unable to view8 votes
Can you please try to see if the directions found at the link below fixes the issue?
The feature we hope to add ASAP is to have reminders/notifications show up in the Lifelog for people who don’t want their reminders to show on their locked screen for privacy reasons.
This is not an easy feature given how we developed the reminders functionality so it is taking us longer than we have hoped.
We’ll be doing a crowdfunding to see if we can raise money from people using the app daily to build out requested features like this one.

As part of the morning lesson, and other prompts throughout the day, it would be great if the app could record our mood on a graph that we can refer back to. It would be interesting to see how mindfulness practice affects how we feel over time.8 votes
Excellent idea! We hope to add this type of stats/graph functionality in the future. The checkin feature (accessed in the more section, and checkin specific reminders) was our attempt to do the first half of this. Please continue to share with us more on any specifics you’d like to see or how you might use this type of feature.
That’s great feedback. We’re exploring new designs and are taking this into account. Some love it, some are stressed by it … we’ll continue to work on it till we are able to tune it for more people. So many paths inward, and it is so personal and varied in terms of preferences. Thank you for your patience and support.
When I'm using my iphone as an actual phone, occasionally pauses and checks will alert during the call. Please consider a way to stop these alerts from interrupting phone conversations, it's counteractive. Thanks.7 votes
Great feedback! We’ll definitely see if we can do this, although it might be a limitation of the controls that apple gives developers for access to its notification center. That said, we’ll be mindful of how best we can design around this on the apple platform as well as future platforms that may have different constraints :-)
I currently write morning notes where I record:
- How I feel right now
- My intention for the day
- Something I am grateful for (Gratitude diary)
It would be great if MD could optionally prompt us for these things first thing, and record them in our life log. It could invite us to return to what we wrote in the afternoon to see if we are staying true to what we wrote.7 votes
This is a lovely idea that overlaps with a few things we’ve been brainstorming but have yet to officially add to the roadmap. Please continue to give any feedback and/or suggestions down here so we have more of your input when we have the time and resources to implement this excellent idea :-)
Make the pause videos longer6 votes
Thanks for the feedback, we’re exploring a number of things for Pause, including making them longer or leading to longer ones. If you have feedback on how best you’d like to see this, please let us know :-))
Currently there is a 5 and 20 min silence. Please can you add a 10 min silence. Also maybe add 30min, 45min and 60 min silences.6 votes
We hope to add both a timer and other lengths of silent and guided tracks. Thanks for being specific and requesting this feature. We’ll prioritize it!
Make it's so that for the main screen back ground we can use our own photos.5 votes
Great idea, thanks for sharing it with us … this is something we’re playing with to see how best to do something like this, trying to insure things remain legible.
Occasionally I only fit in one activity and sometimes it is just the night reflection. This Saturday I had a busy day socialising and remembered to do a night reflection just after midnight. I am very upset to see that the app shows me to have missed a day and now feel demotivated.5 votes
Great idea! We’d love to add this when we have the time/resources to do it. For what its worth, it currently starts the day over at 3 am local time. We’re sorry for the “demotivation”, we completely understand and will aim to address this asap.
I recently read Sam Harris' book "Waking Up" which provides a great deal of information about the physical and mental short and long term benefits of mindfulness practice, and meditation in general. In the first few days of the program, it might be nice if the app provided more information on what we are trying to achieve with mindfulness practice, what the health benefits are why things like focusing on the breath and doing a body scan etc. is do beneficial. Rick Hanson's Foundations of Well-being program just completed its mindfulness pillar which also contained great info.5 votes
When we begin to make more content, we’ll definitely try to add more of the type of information you describe here. Thanks!
Be able to create your own pause screens / text / videos. Great app! Vince4 votes
Custom Pause videos and/or custom reminders is something that we hope to introduce sooner than later. Thanks for suggesting and for the patiences!
I like the resonating sound of the bell. It would be interesting to have a practice that has the bell ever 30 secs over 2 mins.4 votes
Thank you for kindly making a suggestion on how we can further use the resonating sound of the bell, it is one of our favorites when we use the app ourselves. We’ll be discussing this in the next production/design meeting. Please keep adding suggestions as this is the type of improvement that we’d love to add sooner than later.
